On nice days, I like to take a lunchtime walk around Rittenhouse Square. The groundskeepers have been hard at work the past few weeks getting the square ready for spring. I couldn’t resist whipping out my mobile phone and taking a few photos. (Here is where I mention I am not a very good photographer.)

Spring certainly has taken her time getting here this year, but I imagine she’s taking even longer to get to you! Has all your snow melted yet?

It’s snowing right now! Actually it’s more like slush falling from the sky. There are still some piles of snow on the ground but most of it has melted and yesterday I found the first snowdrop in my front yard. Spring always takes its time getting to Nova Scotia but this year has been something of a shock even to people who’ve lived here a long time. I’m glad you have tulips.
